30k service

So i bought my car with 42k. But i am not sure if the 30k service was done yet. Is there anyway to find out? Do dealership keep some sort of record?

They can tell you the previous maintenance that was done by any Infiniti dealership.

They do document all maintenance on their system IF the work was performed at an Infiniti dealership; if the previous owner did the work himself or took it to another shop, then it won't be available.

call or go to any Infiniti dealer service dept. they can pull up all the records that have been performed at an Infiniti dealer.

its better to go to a nissan dealer. its mostly 30% less cheaper then infinti. and they use the same shiettt.

or just go to a local trustworthy shop

okay so i went to go buy the parts and something seem very strange to me. The differential oil they gave me was Pennzoil gl-5 80w-90 or whatever the recommended spec was. The part guy told me pennzoil is actually what infiniti use. When they order it, its in the nissan box and everything. This is really hard to believe that nissan would use pennzoil bottle and label as there oil to use/sell. And how many quart do i need? He told me 3... And are we suppose to use gl-5 or gl-4? I have the sport version which is 6spd and comes with lsd

I thought they use castrol, and wtf its not 3 quartz.

it should be 5 quartz if your changing the oil filter, 4.5 Quartz without changing filter

Pick up the phone and ask your local Nissan dealership how much they want to change all fluids/filters. I had them do mine and I believe the cost was under $300 but prices may vary. You can't believe what some autoparts store tells you, some are good and other guys can't find there way home. You could also have an independent shop change your fluids if they're reliable and will use Nissan fluids.
