Questions About G's
#19
It's not just the looks or the power of the car, it's the feel when you drive it and coming from somebody that has driven multiple stangs (from GT to SALEEN to Cobra) I can tell you that none of them have the feel of a G35. When you get behind the wheel of a solid G35 you know you are driving something special, it's the feel that hooked me the first time I drove one (YMMV). You can get faster and you can get more luxury but at the current going rates for these cars I do not think you can combine both any better than the G does (plus you'll be hard pressed to find somebody that does not appreciate the look of the G).
Best of luck either way,
Jason

i would rather have a G due to its potential. it may not be faster stock, but slap a vortech supercharger on it, and you will still would have spent less than what the 5.0 cost, and slap a 5.0 up and down the road. and i have never met a girl that looks at a mustang and thinks that it is a hot car. girls panties seem to just fall down when they see the infiniti badge… just something else to think about

I have driven several M3's and honestly they feel like a scaled back track car, now granted some may like that feel but personally I prefer something a bit more refined and subtle for a daily driver. I would agree that the M3 is an excellent vehicle and way too much fun, just be sure you can afford to maintain it as it is even more costly than a G35 when things go wrong.

Let me end this right now, Skyline = Domination!! Americans will never compete with the ultimate Japanese sports car. Corvette? $40,000 more than Skyline. Use that money to boost Skyline, Corvette stands no chance. But seriously, G35 is a great car, i can assure you most G35 owners don't regret buying one. Infiniti makes great cars the G35 will prove that to you on the first drive. Mustangs are.... Mustangs, played out and cheep quality. JMO People might say the G35 is played out but not as much as mustangs for sure.

While it's a good idea to ask ppl what they think on the forums, it's kind of pointless cus we're all gonna be biased towards the G. I love the new 5.0 stang for sure and I love the G as well but it all comes down to what your going to be using it for. If your just gonna drive it to work and around town do you really want to be in a Mustang over an Infinity? I wouldn't...

Save some money and go for the G IMO. Use said saved money to improve on areas where you feel it needs to be. The G35 is a much better daily driver (friend owns a 2011 3.7 V6 mustang. Can't imagine the 5.0 drives any different except for the extra power). The G35 just has a perfect balance between sport and luxury.
Yeah it may lose in a drag race against a 5.0 while it is stock, but at the end of the day, are you going to be racing all the time or driving around town to work, classes, etc? Plus you can use the money you saved to increase performance if you feel it it lacking.
Stangs also only attract the attention of dudes.
