Advice Needed 2006 G35

Hi everyone. Im currently looking to buy a 2006 G35 with 56k on it. It is fully loaded with NAV, 6MT and looks like it was taken care of.

2 previous owners, carfax is clean.

My concern is with the oil consumption problem, it was build in 03/28/2006.

I believe it is out of warranty, and the asking price is 15k. We talked of buying the car out at 14.5k.

Would Infinity replace my engine if it qualifies, and i have problems with it? even thou is out of warranty? that my main concern.

Ive owned BMW, VW, mostly german before, my last car was a E90 335. My first time buying a G35. All the advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

if its out of warranty they are not going to replace it. Also if it is under warranty you are going to have a hard time getting it replaced if you dont have the service records especially the oil change ones.

^agreed...your powertrain warranty covers you for 7 years. Bumper to bumper is only 5 years.

The OC issue is covered under the powertrain warranty which is good to 70K miles.

first of all it's INFINITI not INFINITY. second, just buy extended warranty it's well worth it.
