Seibon cf hood wont latch!!

Depends on what you need, thats why I suggested popping the grill out to see why it will not shut. If you see signs that it is scratching the hood you might need to space it out, if it will catch the latch, the hood latch might not be going deep enough in to the claw. Which you will understand when you see it. Can you get it to grab on the second safety latch?

I had a tough time closing my seibon ts hood as well. Moved the latch as close as I could and pulled it to a slight angle. Even if I drop the hood, it won't close. I have to close the hood and push down on it pretty hard.

yeah i removed my grill and all i could see is the hood latch just resting on the claw doesnt look like its hitting anything..i think the hood isnt going deep enough for the hood claw to grab

this is how my hood sits on the latch i can push it down but the claw won catch it

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Take it to a body shop and see if they can repair it, should be cheap.

Yeah I think I'm gonna get aerocatch pins to be safe but can't do it till the hood closes lol

you need to dremel the latch slots to get the latch up higher.

i got ts hood. the thing won't latch so i just installed the aerocatch pins and i am very impressed

When I installed my Seibon hood, I had to grind down the some of the material around the latch. Hood was hitting the two points that curve out. I can take a picture when I get home, if it helps.

if you could take a picture that would be a great help..so basically all you did was grind those pieces down and the hood closed??did u raise the latch up?
