You just have to grind the two tabs on the hood latch flush... Reference my picture in the earlier post

Ams slayer hood wont latch

Hey guys I've been reading the post and can't get a understanding of which part of the latch ill need to work on . The hood latch sits right on top of the claw except like said previously it might be to short ?? Can somebody help !! I seen the guy get his ts hood closed just wondering how he/you got it done

Don't trust the hood latch for a CF hood. Hood pins are your friend.

I was having the same issue with my TS hood. What i did was loosen up the latch bolts and pull up on the latch as much as i can and bam it worked. I also had a cooling plate that was preventing it from closing please feel free to ask me any questions chao.

Easy fix to problem

I purchased a carbon fiber hood and had this problem I fixed it but putting washers until I can get maybe the two elongated hood latches.
