Well if anyone knows of anyone selling an ls1/2 with t56 for a reasonable price let me know lol. Im finding them in the 6k range for a used pair... wtf.

What do you think you are looking at price wise with any of these swap? You will be north of 15k on either swap if I had to guess.

gsmotorsports will do it for around 8k for either setup all parts included, Im already at 2/3 of that price for a used ls2/t56...

if you want the WOW factor swap an rb in with awd. i dont think there are to many out there... correct me if im wrong.

and 8k for a swap... if everything goes smoothly maybe 8k. but when you start running into problems dollars start adding up quick!

Right but 8k gets you a swap that makes less power than our car stock. A stock 2jz is what 220 or so.

That ls2 is making 400 out of the box n/a. So it is not exactly apples to apples.

Either platform will be able to get you to that 800 mark, it is just how much it is going to cost you to get there. Neither way will be cheap. I know for sure that 8k is not getting you the swap, parts and built motor with upgrades to hit that mark.

I have seen atleast 100 threads on here where people say they are tryign to debate if they should build their motor, get a VQ45, get a LSx, get a RB26 ect ect. I have only see two people ever go through with it. And one of they quit half way through.

I am glad to see you like your car, but you will never actually do it.
