advancing your timing by 2 degrees really make a noticeable difference.

Is that a question or a statement?

I'm curious to know if advancing the timing 2 degree's is worth it or not. Ive heard that it's worth it initially, but then the ecu eventually compensates for it.

In checking further I find that my station has been selling me STALE gas which could be a year old since they have declared that do not sell any Hi test at that station. This would explain whey the car has been slowing down all winter...the change to fresh 89 octane probably allowed better performance...I will be going to next town soon where I can get some fresh 93 Sunoco. we shall see. here is a great article on the effects of stale gas and corn ethanol. http://motorcycleperf.com/techtips/gasoline.htm

We've never seen a difference when data-logging on the dyno.
