Haha no, I don't plan on killing my father...

And no, our shop doesn't upload photos to the internet but I will be taking pictures of the repair and uploading here. So far all I've ordered is the outer quarter panel. We're going to wait and see what the insurance writes for in the rest of the damage (OEM vs recycled, etc...) Also, I'm sure they'll want the quarter panel off before they cover the inner quarter.. most adjusters are idiots and won't write for inner panels off the bat unless they physically see a major tear.

Ugh... I guess I'll walk out and snap some pics. It really did look/sound worse than it is... there is no apparent mechanical damage, although I'll be putting her on the lift tomorrow morning to thoroughly inspect.

Thanks to everyone... I'm not too worried about how my car turns out when it's done, it was just a nightmare to watch. Enjoy the pics...

Wow, you weren't joking about how high up it was hit.

I'm looking forward to the reconstruction

That's really ugly, but at least no mechanical damage. It's really big of your dad to offer to buy you a new car, but it's even bigger of you to understand that he works hard for his money and a new car is not necessary. Crap happens and that's what insurance is for.

Haha no, didn't cry.. Parts are already ordered and should be here monday. I'm rocking a hyundai in the meantime... It was totaled and we basically welded one half of a car onto another. Just painted it last week and it's driving nice! 2003 sonata with a v6 and 34,000 miles. Not quite a g35 though

OUCH, that's fairly ugly, painful to look at the pics.

Best of luck on the repair.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully the adjuster will show up early on monday so we can get crackin' on it. I'm hoping to have her back on the road in under two weeks.

Pics of repair to come...
