Getting into dash/instrument cluster

Getting into dash/instrument cluster
I've got a used 06 6MT with 80k miles on it. I love it and drive it every day.
Unfortunately it has a buzzing, clicking noise that comes from behind and below the instrument cluster. It only seems to occur at highway speeds. After 5 months its starting to bug me. It isn't loud but it is at a pitch that can be heard over the radio at normal volumes.
It sounds like a bad speedometer cable......but I'd guess these cars don't have mechanical speedo cables anymore do they?
Anyway, have any of you tried to remove the instrument cluster in order to get into the dash. Or is there a DIY? Any help getting in there would be appreciated.

I guess I'll have to be the pioneer here. Next warm, dry day that I get when I have nothing to do (I'm guessing 2013 or so), I'll dive in and take pics as I go. It'll probably end up going to a repair shop on a roll back but I've got to do something. Its starting to drive me crazy....but that's a pretty short drive....
