hey bro, i don't know if you got this fixed but i'm going through the same issue. my car wouldn't start it'd just keep clicking even when trying to jump start it. so i went to my shop, grabbed another battery and bam thing fired right up! sometimes we get a bad batch of batteries, maybe we both got unlucky? lol. i'm still having issues of my car dieing, i think something is draining the **** outta my battery or my alternator is not charging.

Choleaoum, sorry to hear that...

check out this post here:

http://forums.automotive.com/70/1055...ain/index.html

i was thinking that this was the problem....

but i did get my car to start, i just kept trying to start it... and it finally started...

also, one of the other guys recommended that if you do a push start (MT only) then you should narrow down the problem to the starter.

im 95% sure its my starter now.

I found the solution through one of the thread on the forums..My car wouldn't crank unless i hit the clutch pedal down real hard...So i change the clutch pedal sensor and my car would turn on right away..

^if the switch is not fully pressed when u depress the clutch the car wont start and will jus make a click sound.

thanks for the information. do you happen to have the part number you ordered?

did you replace this yourself? if so, do you have instructions?

He was talking about the starter, not the switch.

so it looks like its 200 to replace the starter: 180 for the part and 20 for labor.. the starter itself is the hitachi oem remanufactured replacement
