G35 Won't Start
hi all... its me again..
so i tried to start my g35 today after about 3-4 weeks of not driving it due to business travel.
all the electronics work inside the car (Bose Radio, alarm, lights, etc) but my g35 won't start. I had the starter replaced about a month ago.
I tried jumping the car and waited about 20 minutes.. no luck. I tried starting it about 20 times and i started getting really frustrated. I also retightened the battery terminals because i couldn't really think of anything else.
my guess is that it's the alternator? I'm not sure and I'm a bit upset right now. any suggestions please?

Are your battery terminals corroded ? Try taking sandpaper and cleaning them... But if some of your electronics are working it's obvoulsy getting power.
When the car was starting and working properly did you throw and cel's or ses lights ?
Good luck hope you find a solution

Did you try starting it when it was being jumped? Battery may be going bad.

I'd pursue the clutch switch. Sounds like if the starter doesn't even try to move when you turn the key, jumped or otherwise, its the clutch pedal switch.
There is a small switch that you press in when you press the clutch pedal down and turn on the car. If you don't press the clutch pedal, the car won't start.
Easy way to test this is just try starting the car with the clutch pedal released. If the sound is the same, I wager its the clutch pedal switch. Easy fix, someone posted it earlier.

Did your car start? Get a diagnostic code reader from autozone to get the error codes to check if it has any? have you searched the forums for the camshaft sensors? If you get it to start, AAMCO, does free diagnostic checks but they need your car for the day. They check everything.
