Rear deck / parcel shelf removal assistance

I took my G35 to get the windows tinted tonight and when they pulled it out they had cut around the third brake light....UGHHH. I told them to fix it and they told me they can't get their tools between the brake light and the window so they had to cut it.

What I am wanting to do is to be able to remove the rear deck / parcel shelf with the brake light attached so they can redo the rear window. I have searched here for over an hour and have not been able to find the information.

I laid the seats down and pulled the two pins that are on the vertical area, but after that I can't figure out what else needs to be done to remove/slide the rear deck away from the window. Any assistance would be appreciated.

i'm assuming you're asking about the coupes, it takes several things removed just to get to it...

I had mine done and they did the rear window no problem. I got 5% on the rear and 2 small sides, and 20% on both front windows. I'm currently trying to get a eye doctors note so I can have my front windshield tinted

That is very roughly how to get to and remove the shelf. Ignore the mismatched interior, been fixed since pix.

Yeah, you gotta basically gut the entire rear half of the interior to get that shelf piece out... Pain in the a$$..
