Cool Whats it worth?

I recently purchased a whole sale 2003 G35 coupe from my local dealer. The car has 70K. Its has a Nav package but no aero or brake package its an A/T.

Interior is in great shape no rips or tares, the driver seat is not worn at all. There is a problem with the radio and climate controls not working the nav works. Which after some research it seems it can be fixed with an aftermarket head unit kit. The dealer agreed to swap out the radio with another car on the lot just to make sure it is the radio that is causing the problem. They tried replacing the circuit board but it didn't fix the problem. They believe its shorted out somewhere inside the radio. Mechanically the AC is all good. Mechanically the car is great no leaks, clean carfax, I inspected the undercarriage all looks good. New tires and brakes.

The exterior has seen better days, no major dents of any kind just bumper scuffs and a small tear in the rear diffuser. The car drives great and was used to commute into town from about a 90 mile distance one way. Single owner who was an educated older gentlemen who go the new G37s.

What would you have paid for it?

You forgot to tell us what year it is, kiddo.

They want to swap out the radio with another car on the lot? Lol back when I used to work at a few dealerships that was a common 'resolve' (go figure). Not sure what year but this seems to be a few issues here and there...

New tires and brakes is great, as well as mechanically, electronic issues are intermittent on our cars time to time I know I myself personally haven't had any so far (knock on wood and keeps on hoping it stays that way). The radio and climate control I believe are tied into the same module/harness but don't quote me on that.

Personally not sure what year it is like I said but I'd take off like 2-3k off what they'd normally ask for after haggling. But that's just me.

I'm guessing it's an 03-04 since he said no brake package and the brembos only came with those years.

To answer your question, with the way the prices have dipped for these cars, I'd say 10k at most with the issues that it has and assuming that it has a clean title.

Its an 03 I corrected the posting. Dealer took it in on a trade obviously, they planned to whole sale the car but a friend at the dealer ship offered it to me for $10,500. They have to put new tires on the car for the safety inspection but I negotiated purchasing rims on my own and them putting the tires on them instead 19". The car needs some love that for sure but the interior is in great condition!

8K I can't even find one for 8K, There is some piece of mind knowing who drove the car last "an older gentlemen" Single owner with no accidents! Its worth about 9,500 to me but would you spend a 1000 more for a single owner who didn't abuse it? Plus I can get a warranty 3yr 36k that includes everything on the car! bumper to bumper just not including the bumpers! LOL

Oh and its here in California so no rust at all. As I said the undercarriage looks great! No leaks at all!
