Talked to g352jz.com

Cost is going to be about the same as an LS1 swap man

ive spoken to Bryan a few months ago and we he gave me some information on doing the swap and prices.... this is what he said to me...

"Ok, just to give you a rough estimate and let you know what it would include getting it to 500 to 600WHP. We would take a 2JZ with a 5 speed tranny. We always fully take apart each engine we swap and clean it properly. Also this alows us to inspect it and make sure everything is ok. It also lets you have an engine that is going to go a couple hundred thousand miles. We would use a Garrett ball bearing 35 or 37 turbo and an afc to control the fuel. this would also include doing a custom fuel system to feed the engine which you would need to do even with a VQ. This would also include one of our manifolds, which has normally sells for 3000+, this manifold has been proven to both increase HP and torque as well as increase the power band of the turbo. Look at the site g352jz.com for a pic. The only real differnce between this and our vehicle would be the 6 speed tranny which is going for around $3500 these days. You would only need the 6 speed if you were thinking of going higher in hp or competively racing the vehicle, which we plan on doing both. I did knock off a little WHP from our build because the 6 speed does allow more power transfer to the rear, but for a few hundred more we can compensate with a larger turbo. If you want I can write up a detailed list, but it is a very long list of components that this includes. All of the small things that it takes to get there. When you price it out including all labor and every single thing you need to get to a "reliable" 500 - 600whp on the VQ I think you will see it costs a whole lot more. Even a built VQ TT has problems when daily driven at 500 - 600WHP, this is why they are now custom blocks to get to a reliable 600WHP.

If you want me to go over it more with you or have further questions please send me your number or call me.

Thank You,
Bryan"

he is a cool guy his number is 561-339-5450 if you want to contact him

Have you seen the thread with the Hemi swap in a G35 coupe, nothing like having an Elephant on your front porch? What ever is done will be costly, I'd rather just do a build and stroke the 3.5 to 4.2 along with Vortech. Want an LS motor buy a Vette then you'll have the whole package....

12k for a 600hp 2jz motor thats reliable in a g35 is better than spending 20k+ for a stock supra or an upgraded supra but not knowing what is under the hood and how the owner took care of it.

Go hard or go home I can turbo my stock 3.5 for that price and get way more power out of it. If you are gona completely tear down your car for a motor swap mid as well get a motor with big horsepower. An LS motor is a solid motor and is one of the best v8 motors out there. Thats why they are in one the best sports out there, a Corvette.
