Stock G drives like a boat!

Body roll and driving "like a boat" are two completely different things.
Pretty much all cars have body roll - it just matters to what degree.
Boat means that the car sways back and forth and bounces all over during normal driving (like pretty much any Lincoln).

35, pure stock - and thinking o actually going with a front and rear strut first cuz it's cheap... but been reading on this forum that they dun work...
overall lovely car but definitely missin my low end power...

Sways shouldn't be much more expensive that f&r strut bars and are much more of an improvement performance wise. Sways should prob be around $400ish and struts would probably be about $300ish

I've had the opportunity to drive various sport coupes, which is where my comparison seems most suitable. 240sx, S2000, Civic, Skyline GTS-T, 3series and 1series...all of these handle better imo than the G in stock form.
Ya sure, in comparison, my Mom's CRV handles like a boat in comparison to the G. But that's hardly apples to apples.
All of this reminds me...I still have hotchkis sways sitting in the garage to replace the OEMs...that I bought at the end of summer

After all the other members suggestions we need to know how many miles on your G? The only time any of my rides have felt like a proverbial boat is when the shocks were shot. You can get springs but you'll still need shocks, so you might as well find the $$ for some coilovers. In the end adjustable sways along with endlinks will help once you've quit floating down the highway....that's on both ends you can't just do one and not the other!

It's all relative, true, which is a good counter.

Grant yeah, pretty much all of those cars I listed are better handling than a G35 (M5 is maybe the one exception simply due to size and weight). However, you must take it all with a grain of salt. The G is a luxury car, not a full fledged sports car.
Almost all those cars you listed are not in the same class as a G. They are smaller and lighter (much lighter for the older models), and that makes a huge difference.
Comparing the G to the cars that are more in the same class as far as size (3 Series, TL, IS, Genesis Coupe), and the G is pretty good. Not a boat at all.
