so i woke up this morning to some kids post of a white G35 that said "2006 nissan skyline". naturall i told him that it was a g35 and he started to argue with me about it with one of his friends, met of with his friend to show me his "skyline" which turned out to be a CB 2003 or 4 G35 with a back infinti badge but skyline lettering and a 350gt badge, and i still am very sceptical about it being a skyline, but he is also very adimate that it is a skyline, he says its a G35 "SKYLINE PACKAGE" so all i was wondering to put my mind at ease is.....is their such a thing as a skyline package for a g35 that came out in 03 or 04?
thanks for the help!

NO. only way it's a Nissan "SKYLINE" is if its RHD.... the car the kids talking about has probably been re-badged.

No, he bought JDM emblems and put them on his car. These cars are sold as Nissan Skyline's in Japan, ricers like to put the JDM badging on their G35's because it lengthens their e-***** and is extremely impressive to other kids on the internet.

Bro... bro... bro. Listen.
If it says SKYLINE, then its skyline bro. ok? I mean, why would anyone lie about what car they drive?
If you can't afford the skyline package its alright man. No need to hate.

^ coming from the guy with Nismo as his signature yet drives a stock G.
OP, The G35 (v35) is a Skyline 350GT in Japan. Here in North America, it is just a G35. Just like in Japan, the Acura 1.6EL is a Honda Domani. Exact same car except for some badges and right hand drive.

The "skyline package" was available during the initial release of the G35, but due to the consequent confusion of an actual GT-R versus a 350GT(G35), it was subsequently removed and no longer available. Although the badges and emblems are still available for sale, it is now only used for those that want their car to look more like the original G35's. There were many heated debates and complaints when new owners found out about this and wanted the "skyline package", but despite many letters sent and contacts to Infiniti USA, nothing was done. So many opted to trade their rear tail lights to have the circular reverse lights and refitted their projector headlights with regular halogen lamps.
