Hey guys, need help with this winter setup..

Hey everybody .. Wassup! Snow is gonna be here soon so here's what im thinking of doing.. Will it work??

OK RIGHT now i got an '04 coupe with 18 inch stock sport tires/rims. My tires are almsot dead anyway but my rims are still okay.. so im thinking of this:

Can i order this from tirerack.com?
-Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22
and use my old rims on them...(instead of ordering new alloy wheels)

Sorry if this is confusing but what im saying is -
Im gonna order Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 for winter(2 front, 2 rear, 18")and then use my old 18" in rims for the tires instead of ordering new ones(since they are all scratched up and stuff)

and also are the blizzak's a good winter tire?

Thanks for the help.

2fast where ya been? According to what everyone is saying, the LM22's are the $hit for the snow or all season tires. You better get them before they sell out, I think they're a hot item.

Call Dallas at Tire Rack. He is well versed in the winter needs of the G. I have the Blizzak LM22's on 17" ASA rims. They perform excellent in the snow and cold.

Re: Hey guys, need help with this winter setup..

For the last two winters I used the Pilot Alpin's. They work extremely well. I drive about 30K per year and live in the midwest.

This year I am using the Pilot Alpin PA2's. Quieter and appear to work as well, though no snow yet. For the summer I am finally buying BBS or Volk 18's. The OEM 18's are nice, but winter and so many other coupes on the road have taken toll's.

Blitzjb, the BLizzak LM22 runs on 18" rims, not 17
