2004 coupe 105,000 miles...What needs to be done?

I have recently bought a 2004 coupe with 105,000 miles and am not sure what needs to be done. The car did not come with service records or a manual so not sure where to start. There is a light that says service engine soon that also recently came on my car. If you guys can point me in the right direction on what to do and how much it should cost? Thx

Well if you go to a dealer ship you can expect to pay a lot more than a regular mechanic. Anyways if it didn't come with any records maybe you need to do the regular 100k service.

Well, if the 90K mile service is the same as the 100K, then it will run around 3K from a dealership. When I bought my G35 a month ago I got all kinds of paper work from the previous owner. he paid $3240 for the 90K mile service.

Not sure about that, the dealer did my wife's 2005 Sedan G35x, and wanted to charge $1700, but since it had 100k miles we were eligible for the 100k club which gave a 20% discount, paid about 1300.

When it came time to do my 100k, (Coupe 6mt 2005), I took it down the street to our dependable mechanic, and it cost about $575. Realized he didn't use original plugs, and filter, so when I go to him now, I let him know it's ok to use original parts. Didn't want to cut corners on the parts..

OP maybe you should have looked into this before you bought the car no? Off to a good start. Well check your maintenance manual, I would flush and change all my fluids, that alone should be between 3 to 4 bills. Also have it inspected for anything else. GL

^The major engine components only need to be replaced when they fail. Inspect the belts to see if they are worn/frayed...etc, they will eventually need to be replaced.
The link I provided earlier shows the recommended intervals of maintenance.

When was the last time the belts were replaced.
