I'm shoppin for a new clutch and don't really know much about the clutch and transmission i know motor work so i'm look in for advice on whats a good brand and not trying to brake my bank... anything under 900-1000 and car is stock but plan on putting work on it after my wedding

I just got a nismo clutch installed at the dealer, not bad price actually and everything feels great nice and tight but it comes with the chatter, just a little noisy.

 

I have the ACT clutch with Stillen lightweight flywheel setup and I'm really happy with it. It was about a grand for the parts through stillen. They installed it for me, so it was 1500.

 

drove my dad's mustang gt today and his clutch was like 1/3 of the pressure to engage than the stock g, do aftermarket clutches offer less stiffness? bump for OP

 

After I got my ACT clutch installed I definitely noticed it was about 10-20% less stiff than the stock setup, which was nice.
