New to Infiniti
This July I purchased a 2004 G35 coupe. It's beautiful and i love it. It had about 69k miles on it. When I took it into the local dealership they gave me a list of things that i should get taken care of including new tires (ive gotten those already), my 60k service, new brake pads, rotors and get my calipers cleaned, 3rd brake light assembly, and a new clutch/flywheel.
After going over prices I realized that they are trying to rape me. They said the 60k service is going to be around $1100, and the brakes should be over $1200, and that if i brought in my own clutch/flywheel it would cost about $900 in labor.
Is that correct?! does anyone know where i can find cheaper parts? i know a mechanic that can do it all for way less.
I also want to know how these brembo brakes work. Do i need brembo parts? what other brands can i look into for rotors and pads?
Thanks!!!
