Brake help need asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!help!!!

I have an 04 6mt with brembo brakes. I decided to change the front pads this afternoon. While compressing the inside 2 pistons the one on the left slid out and will not go back in AT ALL......I got the outside pad changed no prob. The left piston on the inside slides in and out no prob but the left is FROZEN! I noticed a small rip in the boot of the piston. Does this mean it is seized???

If so does anyone know if this is covered under factory warranty? I have an extended one bumper to bumper and im scared of having to get this thing towed to the stealership in the morning and have them charge me out the *** to fix this. they already wanted 1400 just to change the brakes in the first place.

any advice will be great......please

yea i remember that video...i referenced it when i did the rear back in november. it really is simple to change these brakes but its just the 1 piston that wont budge at all. it went in and out at first but when i pushed the left one in the right slid out and froze up. i did the crow bar with a rag around it and pulled like hell (to the point of almost thinking i was breaking something) and NOTHING

na i dont have a clamp nor the socket to get the bolts out to remove the entire caliper

Try using a clamp, they work well.

so the rip in the boot around the piston where the oil is isn't a big deal?

for one, make sure you loosen the cap on the brake reservoir, then go to autozone and "rent" (its really free) a brake kit with a proper clamp or just use the old pad and a C-clamp to try and push it back in...if it goes in its not seized, howver the torn boot is of concern cause it will allow dirt and dust in and could lead to a seizure....like herrschaft said is there fluid leaking out?

Definitely make sure there is no fluid leaking out of the boot. If there isn't then you should be good to go.
