Inch drop and negative camber

I just did a drop with an Eibach pro kit all the way around, used the SPC/Eibach rear camber and toe kit, got everything to within specs. Although the right rear was about -4 degrees when we started!!! The front needed little adjustment to get within the recommended specs. Alignment was done professionally. I'm not noticing any irregular wear on the tires.

Isn't the car already set to a slight negative camber from the factory to improve handeling in turns? That's what I heard... I would imagine lowering the car without a camber kit would increase the negative camber and really eat up tires.
