I've got the spacer and an intake and I didn't feel a difference. The sound is a bit louder, but that's about it. Little bolt-on mods don't really do much for our cars. You might wanna just save your money.

I know it's less of a diff for the AT coupes but if you're doing future mods such as
full exhaust/HFC/tune then the 5/16 spacer will come into play.
But even then you're not going to be getting any real serious hp/tq increase unless u go FI.
It's all about personal preference.
I told myself I wasn't going to mod my coupe at all, that lasted for 1.5 yrs.
After all the mods I've done over the past 3 yrs I've gained minimal hp/tq,
but half the fun is hunting for the parts, seeing how they accent your ride and meeting new G35 enthusiasts.
Just my 2 cents

here is my input bro.. I got a 5/16 spacer and a R2C cold air intake.. i dyno b4 and after the install.. I gained a total of 11 rwhp, my torque did pull a lot higher and my A/F went up to 12.. if i recall correctly. It does make the car sound a hell of a lot better and ya "butt" dyno will feel the diff when u take it off the traction control.. over all u will get a small about of gains.. I have an AT 07. My only problem now is that the TB will get a lot dirtier than it did b4.. which requires cleaning..I told the tech at the racing shop that it's burning more gas and he said cuz u are hitting the gas a lot harder now to here the "sound on the intake".. so i agree with him.. cuz that's what i was doing , but now my car is idling higher.. and burning more gas , but i guess that's due to the TB needs to be cleaned
