Forgestar 14 Wheel fitment question.
Forgestar 14 Wheel fitment question.
I am looking to buy forgestar f14's in piano black. Im having trouble deciding/figuring a few things out. I have a 2007 DG coupe with the stock
17". I want to get the forgestar f14 19" with either 9"F/10"R or 9"F/11"R or would 18's with 9"F/10"R be better?? Also, when I finally decide, will I run into much trouble if when using a tire size calculator the diameter difference between my stock and what i buy is off by more than 3%? besides running into issues with the speedometer being a little off, will it have any other negative effects? thanks!

It depends on the offset. You can do an 11, but it has to be the right offset.
You need to chose the right tire size so that you are closer to stock.
For 19's 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 or 275/30/19 work well.
As far as 18" vs 19" it comes down to personal preference.

I prefer 19" wheels since 18s look small in our big wheel wells. You could go with 9"F and 10"R but make sure the offsets are in the high teens or low 20s. Nothing will look better than cool wheels with big azz lips on your coupe. Tire size 245/35F and 285/35R, post pic when you get em installed!

I appreciate the input. It will be a while before I have pics up haha, forgestars have like a 6 week order waiting period. i will most likely go with either 9F/10R and I will have pics up as soon as they are installed!

If your rolling diameter is more than 3% off between the front and rear tires you will have big issues with the VDC. Don't go there............
Search this issue as its well documented. But in a word... kinda.
