Mother Nature is dropping Skittles!
Not quite skittles, but here is my G35 after a nice hail storm in Kansas City.
Insurance company wants to cut the roof off and replace it? lol.
Already looking into getting a carbon fiber trunk since it's getting replaced.
Wish I would of had my car here at school with me, that way the truck could of taken the beating.

Yup, the "skittles" are magnets that the insurance guy put on the car to document the damage.
84 dents. The car was actually covered (blankets/car cover), and somewhat shielded by the house. (Only a few dents on the hood). All damage is roof to the rear of the car. Not much on the left side either.
Supposedly $5,500 ish worth of damage.

I had that happen to me when I was stationed at Ft. Riley. *fvck you hail* Every panel on my G got hit except the side skirts. My friends body shop just circled all the dents. They only replaced my hood. They pulled all the dents out of all the panels. They didn't need to cut out the roof and replace it with a new one. It kinda sucked at first having all those dents but, they fixed it like nothing happened. Plus the whole car got repainted. The total was $8,500ish.

$8,500 is insane! Do you remember how many dings there were?
I'm hoping the body shops we get some estimates from, don't involve cutting the roof off, because I'm thinking it's a little extreme. Also hoping all the dents are PDR friendly, but from what I've heard from my brother (mechanic) and dad, there are a handful that are pretty bad.

I'm also in Kansas City. During that storm my friend's RSX got ~20 large dents all over from >quarter sized hail, and his windshield shattered. Worst part was he only had liability.
I got hit with one piece that pushed my chrome window trim in about half an inch but I was able to bend it back with a flathead screwdriver.
