Damn! That's badass.

When she saw the G, she immediately fell in love and wouldn't compromise for anything else.

I'm trying to convince her to trade it in and get a Altima coupe or something more efficient since she commutes pretty far to work, or at least a g35X for the winters.

Dude, it's kinda like you said, though I will expand on it for you and your girl:

You're both driving a BEAST!! With a jumpy throttle, at that.

Don't we love it?

Toyota-Lexus? They fell off in the late 90s when they decided to scrap Supras, though they seem to be waking up of late.

In fact, had a current generation Lexus ES 350 trying to run with me yesterday..............left 'im somewhere back in the horizon, which begs the question:

Is Lexus the car of the girly man? (Exception: The Brutal IS-F that I want; maybe the LS 460 Sport. Like I said, waking up of late..)

He gone!

It fires up so manly...

Thoughts, comments?

I hope not It just felt very odd with me pulling up in a luxury sedan, and seeing this guy (who looks like he belongs in a luxury sedan) getting in a banshee of a mustang.

B.T.W. how do you know what a "bear going through a tree shredder" sounds like? Inquiring minds want to know.

I wish my G35 started with just one turn of the key, and not have to hold it for 2 seconds until it does. All new cars start with just a flip of the key. Sometimes I feel like a noob when I go to start it and I dont hold the key long enough and it stalls.

LOL, you guys crack me up...I would bet I'm older than most but not as old as some and I can promise you its in your blood or its not. I will be 80 still racing people in a Porsche...Promise you that. Cars have been in my blood since I was a tike and it has never gotten better. In fact I loved it so much I started a company that’s all I did was build big boy toys. Best part was I looked like I stole what I drove...

As far as starting up...Um, you haven't seen rough! The G is not an Acura but it is pretty damn compliant as compared to some cars. I have a crabby beeech in the garage that doesn't like to wake very easily. But when she does..

I always thought my car's battery was about to go. I'd gone so far as to price a new bat and get ready to buy when i found a thread similar to this. They just start like they are moving a mountain.

A lot of people, especially when commenting on what they like most about their cars, talk about the sound of a g35 starting with a warm engine. I like the sound, but I like the sound of 3500-4500 rpms more.

Talk about a smooth start up, I drove a prius today for fun, actually.. it wasn't fun. Too quiet. Way too quiet, even a silent fart wouldn't escape from there.
hahaha yah those cars are about as loud as my laptop on standby mode

The G definately has a lil bark to it on startup...

Soft motor mounts, very little sound deading in our cars (none in the doors which is surprising) and MAF and Throttle bodies that get dirty quickly all add to it.
