Sounds like it's time for a tune-up? My '04 starts every time, and in a manner that, after driving 400 cubic inch muscle cars from the '60's and '70's, seems exceptionally civilized. You guys are so spoiled. "Takes two seconds to start" shaking my head.

Do you turn the key to the on position first and pause for a second to let the fuel pump pressurize the fuel lines before turning to the start position, or do you immediately turn to the start position? Just curious if your starting technique might be contributing to your issue.

i would guess because the lexus is made to be a luxury car and that motor was made for the US model lexus where it is a luxury car. the G35 isn't really luxury its a nissan they put infiniti logos on for the US market. im pretty sure if you get the toyota soarer with the 2JZ motor in it then it wont start as smoothe lol.

Always had a passion, but just started acting out about 10 years ago... I'm old in numbers only - My kids are still waiting for me to grow up... My oldest is 32, and people think we're brothers - he gets more of a kick out of it than I do...for some reason looking older is cool to him...

When I drive into my development, sound blasting, windows tinted, growling as I pull into the garage, my neighbors just shake their heads, wave...and go into the house saying there goes that crazy old man that refuse to grow up...

Short answer - I'm afraid not... Getting old is not scary, acting old is frightening...

Excuse me, Fallout Vegas on my xbox is waiting for me, to unite the Bombers, ignore the Power of Steel, destroy the Legionnaires, figure out what I'm going do with the NCR, and eventually stop the assassination of the President...decisions, decisions what's an old man to do...

Either you one of us, or your not...

BTW: I don't hang near no damn High School either....
