Why do our G's start so hard.

Why do our G's start so hard.
Today I drove my dad's Lexus and I notice how smooth start up and shut downs are. Not single movement in the car at all.
My G and my girlfriends G both start up so aggressively. I feel as if Something is going to break like a motor mount or something when it turns over.
It fires up so manly...
Thoughts, comments?

That's just the way it is
My dad has a Lexus LS430, and it was built to be quiet.. that's what the people who buy a Lexus generally look for (build quality, luxury amenities, etc..).
People who buy sportier cars or muscle cars generally want more noise or feedback, they want to feel (and hear) the engine come alive

Wow, you drove your dad's Lexus today too. I had to drive my dad's so he could go get my tags cause I didn't have time. It really does start up easier. But I like the roar of the G waking up. But after I bag out the garage, and put the car in drive, after a couple feet, it sounds like something scrapes the wheel well. Anyone know what that is?

Totally. I had a fun run in the other day.. I was taking in my dad's car for some maintenance at the Lexus dealership last week. So I pull up.. dads Lexus LS430 (big boat of a car), and I notice an older gentleman leaving the dealership. A moment later I hear this crazy loud sound (like a bear going through a tree shredder), I turn around.. and it's the old dude in a newer mustang (which must have been fairly built). It was just so wrong to me... I wonder if he swung by the highschools on his way home to honk at the girls... *laughs*

B.T.W. how do you know what a "bear going through a tree shredder" sounds like? Inquiring minds want to know.

I wish my girlfriend had a G!! Instead she drives a GMC Sierra with an 11 inch lift...
My mom has an FX and it starts up just as rough as my G. My dad has a Lexus GX470, my sister drives a CLK320, and my stepmom drives a Volvo XC90 and both of those cars start up quiet as a mouse. I definitely prefer the beastliness of the Infinitis
