G35C Daily Driving In The Winter. Safe, Or Not?
Re: G35C Daily Driving In The Winter. Safe, Or Not?
From my experience last year, I would not venture out to far with the Michelins. my little ride in about an 11/2" of snow ended up in a curb rashed front rim.....
I intend to put on a full set of snows, and if the weather is really icy or bad, I will keep my car off the road and enjoy my time at home.....
The Pilots in the snow are absolutely dangerous. You never know when they are going to let go or even give you enough traction to start moving....
Last year I spent about 30 minutes trying to move my car up onto my drive way which is about a 10% incline......not a fun time at all.......

Yah i seriously suggest no matter what good luck you had in the snow with the pilot sports once, dont do it again! They are not winter tires and the G35 clearly isnt a winter car, my sedan was HORRIBLE with stock tires when i first got, i coulodnt go anywhere but also they were pretty burnt out from the fun summer i had, not a smart move but i guess i can compare almost bald RS!'s to brand new michelin pilot sports, i dont think i will be driving my car now this winter, i have so much more power in it and the car scares me in the rain! Be carefull guys :/
