2004 Changes

For those with cars now, just wondering what changes you would like to see in the 2004 models.

I think this would not only help those who are buying now and make them aware of what might need to be changed, but it will also see if the changes are common thought between coupe owners.

I have a 2003 (May production) on order now. New changes are not going to change my mind, but might possibly help new buyers.

Thanks for your help.

Re: 2004 Changes

First off, some darn seat belt retractors that actually work. Second, a fully auto passenger seat with memory. Third, a snow mode for the Auto trans. No grease on windows.

Other than that, not much.

MEMORY SEAT!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!
I can't tell you how many freakin times I need these......whether it's the mechanic how changes my seat adjustment or someone I know. I never seem to be able to get it back to the one comfortable postion i had before! I had the same beef with my Acura TL. How stupid id it to call a car luxury and not provide this simple thing. IMHO, every power seated car over 20 grand should include one, albeit even if it's an option.
Nuff said!

Hmmmm.....Changes......

More color options on the exterior would be nice.....A bright yellow on the coupe would rock.

Actual brushed stainless or some real metal in the center console section would kick too.

The remote window opener should also open the sunroof......

Body colored wheels would be a nice option too.

Brake pads that don't pollute the wheels should be standard.

Factory window tint, at least 20% if legal in your area.....

And a few options taken from various James Bond flicks.....

Re: 2004 Changes

The JDM version has a winter mode for the transmission. If you look at the plastic console, forward and to the right of the shift console (driver's side in Japan), there's a cutout-looking spot for a switch that's not used for anything in the US market. It's for the winter mode switch for the JDM market. I think it makes the car start in second gear and shift early to keep the torque down to prevent wheel spin.
