Noobish question

Before I spend my hard earned cash on parts I want, I need to know of they all fit together because I can't remember if there was a thread about these parts not fitting together. Will the kinetix ssv manifold, MREV2 and motordyne spacer fit together under a stock 06 hood?

You are absolutely correct. The SSV won't produce much in the way of gains but it sure does look good. OP if you want power gains, stick to the MREV2 and the spacer. They produce good results on the rev up and even more if you get the car tuned.

the spacer uses the stock upper plenum and lower collector or mrev. the mrev is just a direct replacement of the lower collector.

Oh ok. It seems that everyone has a different opinion on the ssv though. Some say it gives you good gains, other say they lose power due to heat soaking issues and it's just a shiny waste of time under your hood. Would a company really produce a product without r&d to see if this is really an issue? Anybody know anyone with the ssv and if so was it worth it or I shouldnt even waste my time.

The SSV has been shown to produce decent gains on a FI application, normally aspirated motors not so much. My guess is he's hooked because of the look.

I considered one for a while but the price vs. gains weren't worth it to me.

Yeah truth be told it's shiny so I thought it might do me some good but if it's not needed then I will just do the MREV and spacer.

Since you have a '06 with a MT this....^....is the best mod you can make, good choice! With this mod and HFCs you will have picked up close to 30 HP, not bad for the cost....

........Sure the Cosworth is pretty but you need to measure cost against return, is it that much better than MotorDynes spacer/mrev2 combination? I would only go that direction if I was going Vortech FI.
