What's up, I'm new. And I need some opinions
I've been looking for a car for a while, and I have been debating on a 350z or a g35. I decided on the g35 and I've found a couple already. I actually found one that is really sick, but I'm a little leery on it. It's selling for 15,000, but I managed to bargain down to 13,500. It has tons of stuff done to it because it was a show car at one point. I'd actually take some of the stuff out and sell them to make more money after getting it. The guy says nothing is wrong with it other than some cosmetic blemishes on the body kit and everything. Here's the listing-
"Custom Supercharged 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe - 48,391 original miles on the original engine.. runs STRONG with a supercharger.. never been in an accident
Here are some of its features:
380hp, ATI Procharger supercharger, CO2-N2O Purge kit,
-Stillen headers, Injen exhaust, 2 NOS bottles installed, Power Everything;. . . ; . . .
-Body Kit: FULL Top Secret Widebody kit with lambo doors;. .
-Wheels/Tires/Brakes: Maya GR5 20x10.5in & 20x9in, Nitto 555: 275/30R/20 & 245/35R/20, Stoptech Big Brake Upgrade;. . . ;
-Interior: Custom beige suede and black leather throughout the interior of the car and trunk,
-8 LCD screens, 3 inside, 5 in the trunk, Rear camera that feeds to the lcds;. . .
-MTX Sound: 1 Thunder 5302 amp; 1 Thunder 3202 amp, 4 5 1/2in mtx speakers in the trunk, 1 12in Thunder 7500 sub in the trunk, 4 6 1/2 mtx speakers in cabin,
-Kenwood DVD, Playstation 2 installed in the rear center console
Car has been recently inspected and ready to go. Recently upgraded suspension with coilover suspension kit. All belts replaced. Oil change and alignment.
.
The Bad:
There are some chips and cracks in the body kit due to wear and tear. Nothing major. "
I'd take out the nos kit, the screens in the trunk, etc. I wouldn't want all that in my car because I won't be using it as a show car or anything.
So. Good deal? It's a sweet looking car. One of the best g35's I've found. I would get a pre purchase inspection as well to make sure there really isn't anything wrong with it. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks any help in advance

I was talking about if your previous car was modified.
This G35 is boosted. Forced induction. Supercharged.
That's not your average maintenance/upkeep.
If the motor is built, you can't guarantee nothing will break. God knows who built it, and who tuned it.
If it's not built.... well, I wouldn't be boosting it all the time, because the engine will probably crap out on you not too long from when you buy it.

I'm not trying to say don't get the car. Hell, it seems like a very good deal. But that's where it kind of gets fishy as well.
It may be too good to be true.
I remember seeing a boosted G35 for sale that looked exactly like what is described, and I remember it looking like absolute crap.
Be careful when buying highly modified cars. The best thing to do would be to learn about all that FI stuff, so you can ask the seller questions about it. If he seems clueless about your questions, walk away.

Yeah that's what I was worried about too (it being cheaper than it seems.) I mean it's around D.C. area and cars seem to sell a lot cheaper there rather than other places so I've noticed. But this is still cheap. And yeah that's why if I got really serious about getting the car I would get a pre purchase inspection so a mechanic could spot anything wrong or that might go wrong. But I'll be asking the owner a lot more questions tomorrow. And I'll be looking at the carfax. Supposedly he has to move out of the country in June (pretty sure military) and that's why he's selling it. He really was looking to get 15k but I said 13.5 and he said it's ripping him off but as long as he can get it in cash he would do it. I still don't know how I feel about it though. It's a really nice looking car. But seems just a little sketchy

Looks like something comin from fast n furious. Y wud anyone put 6 monitors in the trunk? And that door needs realigning. If i were u, i'd look for another one.
Simply because no one knws who installed the s/charger, who tuned it, and donno who took the car apart n modify it. Cuz not everyone is 100% careful of wat they do.
I think u will spend more money un-modifying it let alone maintaining it. Some cars are modified, but the previous owner went nuts on that thing like mandingo on julia bond lol
Just my two pennies
