Well, just got a call back from the collision center. It turns out there was much more damage than expected and my total repair cost will come out to <font color=red>$13,500</font color=red> Insurance has given the go-ahead and they will begin work on my car. The estimate is that it will be done by <font color=red>Jan. 4</font color=red>, and hopefully sooner. He also mentioned that the car is well within "repair guidelines," but just most of the parts are very expensive and itll require over 30 hours of labor.

Thanks for all the support again, its really helping me get through. boost21psi: my car only had about 2500 miles on it also, i share your pain. im looking forward to a very long thanksgiving break and winter vacation.

 

Supplemental work is quite common, especially when there is heavy damage. I wouldn't be surprised if a 3rd supplement showed up for a few additional minor things later as well.
