i'm located in los angeles, what are the reasonable lease deal i should be aiming for? so far i only talked to one dealership metro infiniti in monrovia they have a 2005 fully loaded coupe 5at minus navigation, and the lease they told me would be 5000 down 490/month 12kmiles/yr, for 42 months, after that i have the option to purchase the car for about 17k, i don't think this is the best deal out there so what are some of the reasonable lease deal on that car?

I got my 2004 G35C 6MT w/ everything (nav) except the aero package.. or whatever it's called.. for $498/month .. $1200 total drive off. 48month lease.. It's under my name too.. and I'm only 19.. so not bad. =)

I got my 05 Premium\sport\aero kit for $500 a month. 39 month lease, 15000 miles $1000 down. MSRP $38310 and I paid $35200. I'd put as little as possible down.

Wouldn't a lease be substantially less if the miles per year were low? I drive less the 10K a year and they are advertising 39 months leases for $299 with I think $4,000 down and under 10K a year. This is for a Auto Coupe with premium package

I think those leases are waaay too much. Check out www.leasecompare.com. I am looking at high $300's and low $400's with $2500 down (plus tax and license) for 36-48 months. It also depends on credit score. Good luck. I just ordered a 2005 6MT coupe and can't wait to get it.

Your lease deal doesn't sound much better. You said you were looking at low 400's (let's say 420), plus 2500 down, plus tax. $2500 over 36 months is the equivalent of $70 per month, so your 420 is now 490. Tax on 490 x 36 months is another $1200 (at 7% tax). One of the other posters said they were paying 498 with $1000 down, so your deal is about the same.

Let me clarify. $2500 down and $380/mo for 15k mi/mo. With taxes (8.25% in Los Angeles) it comes out to $411.35 with a money factor of .0016. That's pretty good to me.

a money factor of .00016? That's a pretty low money factor. Is that through inifniti? I haven't seen anything close to that.

I have a credit score above 790, but check leasecompare.com. They have good rates!

My credit score is about the same and my money factor was .00245 for my 05 coupe. I know the sales manager and he said once you qualify it's the same rate for everyone. Going outside infiniti could be a different story though.
