Interior/exterior lighting

With so many led's to choose from on eBay and other sites, I wanted to see what other members were using. There are 4,6,12 smd, tube-like led etc... Which ones will fit what? I bought some 5 smd for my clearance strip. Also some 6 smd for my clear corners(lights are not squares and all sides like the clearance strip one, there all infront). I'm so confused on what will fit and what will not. I'm sure there all bright enough for me but I know they can't all fit. Anyone, please shed some light on this. There is way to many to choose from!

Example: for dome lights, you can buy a tube like led or the smd with up to 12 squares on it. Will they all fit the dome?

Those are very expensive compared to eBay though. That's why I'm trying to figure out what the difference is in all of them. I got my clearance 5 smd for $1.99 shipped. These are the ones with squares on all sides and one on top. My clear corners, I figured I wouldn't need lights on all sides so I opted for the led that had 5 lights all on the top.

I have my clearance light replaced with 12smd I think, clear corners with 5, and license plate light with 4smd super brights. I bought the 12 and 4 from Marinelli in the vendor section. There really nice. And my clear corners are from eBay. All looks good. The bulbs that you are looking for are 194/168. The smd is just saying how many lights are on the one bulb.

So basically, if you get the right bulb number, your good to go? Because some have the same bulb number but look twice the size. I know the dome/door lights are de3175 but they have so many different sizes on eBay, I just want to make sure it fits.

If you get a 12smd and lower you should be fine. Cause I saw that Marinelli sales a 25smd and I don't think that will fit once the casing and stuff is on. And check that link out, it should help.

Thanks. Those guides only show bulb type, not really what I was asking because for every 194 bulb, there are about 100 different size/types. But if you think they all work, I'm good to go! I'm thinking I made a bad choice on my clear corner lights, I would assume that the 5 smd with side lights would emit light throughout the whole fixture instead of just straight through the center. Hmmm

They reflect through out the whole thing if there the non-bump style. Bump styles do to, just not as much in the front of the corner so you can tell there bump styles.

Led bulb size comes in variations. Some come with adapters that come with a board of leds like 16count, 24count, etc. And some are tubes and some are 360degrees and some just have the leds on the tip

For example like the dome light, you can either get the tube, or get the one that comes with the adapter and it has like 24count led board... And that thing is BRIGHT

I got the same ones on ebay for a bit less, but maranelli motorsports still has good prices.

I used the same SMD bulbs for the dome lights and door lights, perfect fit. 31 to 36mm should fit

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Not all LEDs are the same. Buy a crap bulb and it'll go out fairly quickly. Buy a quality bulb and you're set for years. More expensive doesn't always mean better, so I try to stick with reputable vendors so there is some accountability if issues arise down the road. Marinelli MS is a stand up business and the owner is a great guy, I'd check out his products and prices. You won't be disappointed if you do business with them I guarantee it.
