took me 7 seconds the first time lol but longer to put back on...just put the 2 side clips in the grill first and then align all clips and push in gently

That's what happens when you guys don't do a detailed DIYs.

If you don't know the exact procedures, don't be suggesting random **** and get people in trouble Mark2K8.

best picture ever

Need a synthetic fluid and high temp grease.

Those will not do

This is how I take mine off. I dont understand what the other posts are talking about. Pop those bumper plugs type things off and pull the grill from those hook things and thats it.

finally got some sunshine today. got the pics.

if you pop your hood, you find this hole...

if you look in said hole, you see this...

you can see that the diamond fits thru a square hole. so use a flathead screwdriver and turn it 90 degrees (mine turned easier one way than the other) and it will slip right thru the hole, so your grill just slips off the front.

then once the grill is ready to be installed, you can twist the whole clip and it will come out of it's slot, and you can put it into the grill then just clip it back in. again, it twisted easier one way than the other to come out of the slot as well.

installed grill looks as such...

for my next DIY i will show you how to check the specs on the endline for the rotary girder...

probably because someone else got frustrated when taking your grill off and broke the clips...cause they didn't have a DIY!!

and i gathered up all the smart assery from this thread and slathered it on those two fins. paint won't stick to it.
