Seat Gone Psycho

So i was driving from San Angelo to Dallas and about Abiline my seat decides it wants to scoot forward on its own. My leg nor anything else was touching the switch and i had to fight it all the way to dallas which got annoying as you can assume. It doesnt do it constantly and it only ever does it when moving. any1 know what this could be? i unplugged the motor for now but im hoping someone can help me diagnose this hoping it might be a fuse issue i also noticed my Third brake light is out... wtf is my luck with these electronics lol.

I'd replace the switch. Never heard of this happening before though

check your switch for anything sticky from a spilled drink or something or see if anything is caught in it

Quick fix.......

Were the wires going to the seat in good condition? I think I remember reading that the movement of the seat can damaged the wiring on some models. What year is your car?

Lol, I can imagine you driving down the road and the seat pushing you forward until your face is squished against the windshield like that scene in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Sorry, but that was hilarious
