Hi, about the side mirror

Hi guys, new to here, gald to join in here, I own an 350gt and lots unlucky happened to me.

On the last friday, I accidently crashed the side mirror while reversing, I hit the pillar in the school carpark. And the mirror holder(?) broken, the mirror can still work (adjust the view). It cost around $650+ to buy from Nissan and need to wait 1 month+, just wondering if any one give me any other suggestion ? Feeling so helpless.

The second question is, I hit the front bumper (I dont even remember when), and there is a leak like finger long. The price to repair and repaint like $400+, and the guy that doing the painting job said he can't ensure this bit would break again easily. But I dont really want to change the body kit.

The last one, my 350gt got the reverse camera, and the mate that I bought from who was help me to put a new MP3 player in, and they do not know somehow making the camera not working even the TV. It does not effect my driving, but always want to get it fixed.

Btw, Im a international student who live in Queensland, I am happy to have 350gt, but feeling so helpless while so many things happened to me, and thanks for reading all this. Cheers

G'day mate!!

On the mirror issue you might try some of the parts websites like Rock Auto who sell OEM parts. I don't know the ramifications of you living in the land of the Aussies buying from the US such as shipping etc. and I have no clue where to refer you to in your homeland.

A good body shop should be able to repair your bumper cover so it fits like new. Not sure what your guy was saying about no guarantees it won't break again.

On the MP3 player I have no clue, sorry.

Welcome to the family and don't be a stranger.

No worries.

Since your bumper is likely polyurethane or fiberglass it should be fixable. Is it an aftermarket or stock piece?

Then it should be fixable. Not sure on the cost of the repair, might be cheaper to source a new one and have it painted since it's OEM but I doubt it.
