DIY or just pay someone?

I just recently caught the mod bug and purchased front and rear sway bars, front and rear camber kit, toe arms coilovers. Is this something I should tackle myself, or should I pay to have it done? I'm no mechanic but I have worked on cars here and there. Also should I purchase compression rod replacement bushings while I'm at it?

Why not? It's time consuming, but if you are capable of working on your car save some money and have a good time doing it. Are the compression rod bushings bad?

Well I'm not sure but I have some popping noise from the front end. For ex I can turn my steering wheel left to right and get the popping sound. Also if I come to a hard stop the same popping noise. It's driving me freaking crazy so I want it fixed asap

Take your time and try and tackle it by yourself. Nothing too complicated there. Just dont force anything to "work".

If you have the desire, time, and tools to do it yourself it's a great learning experience and feeling of accomplishment when you finish. Then again installing different mods can also be extremely frustrating at times.

It really depends on you, but I think you'll see the majority of members on here prefer to tackle projects themselves.

There is nothing more fulfilling than do a mod yourself and getting your hands dirty, plus you save money on the install too

my question with doing such a job would be the tools required. I don't mean different sets of renches as most people already have those but the best way to lift up the car. Obviosuly most people dont have hydrolic lifts so what do you guys usually use for suspension work or anything under the car really?
