Tune question with the Transgo VB Kit.

Ok so basically I am building up my 2004 5AT g35 coupe. Trying to add all bolt ons possible and then a tune. So far I have the Injen intake with a custom heat shield, MD Plenum Spacer 5/16", Apexi WS2 dual exhaust, Stillen grounding kit and DC sport racing headers. I am planning on adding the MD ART pipes, MD XYZ pipes, Transgo shift kit and Auto-innovatio paddle shifter kit.

My main question would be... If I add on all the bolt ons, except for the Transgo shift kit and Auto-innovatio paddle shifter kit, and go for the tune. Would I have to re-tune the car once I add the last 2 mods? (Transgo shift kit and Auto-innovatio paddle shifter kit.)

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Would the car loose a custome tune if I have to install the Transgo shift kit and Auto-innovatio paddle shifter kit since I reckon the battery has to be disconnected? Would that not reset the ECU?

You won't need to retune after adding the Transgo kit and the paddle kit because neither one of those kits will affect engine performance. Also, you won't lose the tune by disconnecting the battery. The ECU will be reset but not reprogrammed or erased.

I will once I decide on ordering it. I am still working on getting the rest of the pipes I am missing for a complete exhaust. The motordyne ART pipes and the XYZ pipes. Then comes the Paddle shifters and TransGo kit.

Grassy a$$! A little rich for my blood to shift without the shifter. But neat idea to put on a car.
