Lightbulb Need next mod suggestion. Picture Included.

Whats going on 'drivers. So heres the "dilemma". I've bought my G about 2 months ago and the mod bug bit, HARD. Now I need a quick suggestion on what to get next. Should I get rid of those hideous oxidized headlights and get the projectors first (which look WAY worse at night, dirty yellow) or should I get 19s and spacers, then in a few weeks a drop and THEN swap out the headlights? Heres a pic.

I never said those are considered mods pal. I said I got the mod bug, meaning I wanna get a bunch of mods asap which is why I posted here for suggestions. Blacked out rims look a sht load better than stock aluminums so its a temp solution. Dont know why people hate on the ebay corners, got mine with the same quality as oems and fit couldnt be any better. No need to be a wise a$$ buddy

if everyone made a thread like this when they joined we would have 9179 useless threads. search for what mods you should do, or at least have some idea of what you want to do. you shouldnt mod for anyone other than ur self so search and pick ur mods out ur self.

Well if you were to read what I wrote, I said I know what I want to get and how I want my car to look. I was just seeing what i should get done first: the headlights or the wheel setup. Trust me Ive read the "what mods should i get" thread extensively and know what I want my car to look like. Definitely wouldn't need YOUR opinion on looks.

Well man, it's your car and it's your money so in the end it all comes down to you. There is no exact "proper" way to mod a car, because everyone has different preferences. Anyway if it was up to me than the first thing i'd do is just restore those head lights by sanding them down with 800, 1000 grid sandpaper, and then buff them out. At the end they should look brand new. (I've done this with headlights and it worked like a charm) If you aren't able to do that then you can buy a headlight restoration kit at walmart for about 20 bucks and that should work also. You can also buy the 06-07 projector headlights (which will cost you about $500) right away but in my opinion i think you should save your money for noticeable mods like new wheels and a drop that will make your car look more nicer.

After that i'd lower the car and THEN get some new wheels. If by saying that you want to "get 19s and spacers" you mean that you want to get the OEM 19 inch Rays that come on some of our cars stock then I think you should forget about that idea and just save up for some aftermarket wheels that you'll want to get down the road anyway. You can find some very nice looking replicas here that will only cost you about $1100

Some used factory 19s will cost you around $600-700 + spacers which will run you around $150 if not more, so just might as well pay a little bit more and get wheels that look nicer.

Hope that helps buddy
-Stan

No i definitely wont be getting any OEM's. Im getting aftermarket Avant Garde's and they are worth every penny. I did use the plastix on the headlights, but as everyone knows, it only works for an hour . I definitely wont be wasting my time with restoring headlights since I want the projectors either way.

If you're "not going to cheap out" when it comes to your car than first of all replace those ebay clear corners and second of all wtf are you asking us? Now all of a sudden it seems like you know what you want and you have money to blow so just buy everything at once.

Poor guy everyone is gettin on him... Moving on, sorry but the whole spray paint rims is kinda ugly... Yea I know from far away it looks ok but next to the car they just look wrong more so on a OB G... I drove around on aftermarket rims that came with my G that I didn't like for 3 months till I got my new set well worth the wait!

My list would be rims drop then lights, you'll enjoy the rims more so then the lights. Just restore the lights for now that's the kind of thing you would do to hold you over not paint over stuff

I would get wheels and suspension first, then headlights.
