you want "Real" carbon fiber or just vinyl overlay?

 

im after real carbon fibre, i live in the UK and can get vinyl here. But My G35 or Skyline 350GT as its know here is a japanese import and nobody does anything for my car here
I already have a carbon front grill which i got from America but now really want a genuine carbon fibre roof skin.
Can anyone help me please?

 

I know AMS does the carbon roof for the evo I'd probably call them, but I have never seen a real cf roof on a G35

 

Price for making this custom piece (R&D, molds, materials) + shipping to UK(taxes, import fee's,etc.) + hopping it makes it there un-damaged + having it installed = Not Worth It!!!

Just go with a vinyl overlay and save yourself the trouble.

 

If anything wouldn't it be more likely that they would have this CF in Japan? Like ^^^ said probably cost 1/3 of the the vehicle cost you.

Specifically, google 3M dinoc. I know there are some G35 guys using that for their roof.

 

if you want the real thing, your cheapest option is to find a shop that work's w/cf and have them overlay the real stuff to your existing roof. only it will take at least 2 weeks. i thought about doing that on my car but it was gonna be around $2,000, so i decided to go w/3M 1080 scotchprint. i had 3M DI-NOC but wanted more gloss and a longer lifespan.
