NISMO fronts with license plates

Does anyone have pictures of a G35 with the NISMO front bumper equipped with a license plate bracket? Or can supply any other ideas as to how to mount the front plate to the bumper?

Would go plateless, but don't need the unwanted police attention/excuse to be pulled over.

If you are going to run it, I would go with like stock - the cutout, and use the stillen like plate adapter using the towhook

I know there are a few in the dg post pics thread. One guy from Va but can't remember his name. Or you could rock it in the vents but I am not really a fan of that look.

It sucks that the new nismo doesn't have a cut out for the nismo plate.. I guess I'm gonna have to drill a small hole to get it to work..

Nismo plate? Same as stillen? Why not either get it professionally done, or just be careful and make it so you can reuse the stock plug?

I HATE that I'm going to have to install the front plate...finally got a citation for it even though I thought I had worked it out well...guess when the state budget got cut our "deal" was voided lol.

Anyhow, I'm currently working on a vinyl replica of my front plate so I can avoid drilling etc my tow hook less Nismo. This is NOT legal however I hope it will pass the roll by test going forward if that doesn't work, I'll end up double siding it to the front in the stock position so at least there will not be any holes in the bumper itself

This. The front looks incredibly clean without the tow hook (and without the front plate!), but for those who need to mount a front plate its a royal PITA.

This is exactly the set-up I was thinking. I still have my old bracket off my stock bumper.

NO Front Plate FTW!!! Much more cleaner with the tow hook delete on the new nismos.

before I had the first klumyzee nismo with the tow hook cutout. it looked good.

Now I'm on my second nismo with the delete and it looks much better.

I did get a citation once or twice...
One time it was by parking enforcement... parked on the street in front of my house. This one I paid it off w/o getting written off.

Second time, I screwed it in. I placed the plate by the passenger side duct. screwed in by the bottom holes of the plate to the crease of the air duct. So when you remove the plate after inspection, you wont see two holes in the middle of the bumper.

BTW, using 3M double sided tape, wont really pass inspection. You have to place some fake screws in the license plate holes and then mount the plate using the 3M tape.
The deputy who inspected mine and made sure it was properly mounted using screws/bolts. Even when we got back into the office, another deputy questioned his inspection about the bolts/screws.

No one that spends the $$ for one of those beautiful Nismo front bumpers is dumb enough to drill holes for a license plate! Leave it on your dash/3M double sided adhesive or in your office. (that's where mine is)

Yea I know....^....damn little we do meets legal requirements by some states standards. The 3M double sided adhesive works, just don't tell them how you did it!
