License Question

As long as you're moving with traffic, you're fine.
I run from Dunwoody to Alpharetta each morning, doing 80 on GA400. Along with everyone else.
You're doing something to stand out. Changing lanes too fast, or too close to other cars, or whatever. Something is catching the eye of the cop, and it's usually movement against the grain.
Faster than other traffic, cutting lanes, etc.
Then again, 285 on the fast lane is 75-80, but not always.
You'd know if you're going much faster than everyone else. If that's not it, it's some form of movement that's getting you.
State cops have the right to pull you over at +1 MPH, but don't usually under +10. From a local cops mouth that is, take it with a grain of salt.
Edit: Call the DMV or your insurance company. They'll know as well.

Thanks for the info jstudrawa.
That's basically my logic when driving - don't stand out and don't be the fastest car around you. My past couple tickets have occurred when I hit a slight downhill which sped me up about 4-5 mph without me really noticing (even when going 80+ mph, our cars don't feel like we're going that fast). I think that's my problem. Other than that I try to just move along with traffic in the left hand lane. It seems like every time I start moving a little faster than traffic, I get pulled over - I'm batting 1.000 in that department.
Oh well you live and you learn.
