Is it a good idea to buy new parts instead of repainting?

Hello, G lovers
I am wondering If it is a good idea to buy new parts instead of repainting my both left and right fender of my 2003 g35

The reason is that I have deep scratches concentrated on both fenders.
So I thought of repainting the entire body of the car,and the cost was estimated about $1800.

Would it cost less to repaint the fenders?

However, I was thinking why not just buy the new fenders and paint them.

I have key scratches on both fenders and a few on side doors.
But i think instead of spending heck of money, spending lesser money would be great.

How much does it cost to paint two fenders? (Color =>Desert Platinum)

Any good stores to buy fenders? Any suggestion which one to buy?

Please give your opinions.
Thank you !!

To paint and have dp match you need to blend into hood and both doors. To replace fenders its still the same panels being blended but now your adding remove and replace time plus the under hood color that needs to go on fender jambs. Don't replace fenders

Pictures of just how bad these scratches are would help. Unless we're scrapping metal and have serious damage to the fenders, buying new ones probably isn't necessary.

If it's just scratches on the fenders then don't replace them. The paint shop that will paint your car will just primer it and it will look fine. Plus all the work to remove those fenders will be a waste of time.

The fenders are not hard to remove. I just got done doing it last week. We had to fix the screeches on the door and fender. The color Mach was good but it looked so good we just decided do paint the hole car. When we started thinking we might as well change the color and do it right. My thoughts are u will have to paint the hood and other parts to do it right. So just do it big!

Why not just have those areas damaged/scratched repainted? Replacing them seems foolish when you consider the cost.... Logic!
