I did a quick search and this is all I could find:
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...-ipl-rims.html
It looks like the dealers were quoting $3200-$4000 without tires.
I'd like to see some on a g35 myself, they look good from what I can see (19's correct?).

Yeah you won't get those for cheap, at least not any time soon as IPL was just introduced... I haven't seen or heard of anyone with one yet.
Factory pricing for rims are outrageous; IIRC even the OEM 19's are 1k per rim.
As Affalterbach said, go with some nice aftermarket rims.

here are some IPL Wheels and tires
He's asking 5K obo and getting flamed. He says he paid over 6k from the stealership. Not worth it at all IMO, I'd rather get gtr 20's.

Thats how much the rims are worth. Whether you like it or not. OEM or no OEM. Yes, you'd be stupid to pay $5k for them when you can get the nicest volks + coils for probably less than that. But its not like he's trying to rip people off.

That's NOT how much the rims are worth. That's how much the dealership charges for them. The rims are worth what someone is willing to pay/ fair market value. The dealership wants $800 for 1 stock g37 19 inch rim, but MINT sets with tires sell for $1,400. See my point? The market dictates the price, not the dealership. The quality of these IPL rims are not even in the ballpark of that price range. They are at most $2,000 - $2,500 rims and tires, and that's strictly due to the fact they are rare. Why in the world would these be worth 4-6k when light weight, high strength, 3 piece forged wheels aren't even that much?

my point held true, the rims sold on ebay for 2,700. I think the thing that pissed people off on myg37.com is that he listed the price of 5k and wrote "all low ballers will be ignored", then listed them on ebay starting at 2,500.... That is basically trying to rip off the forum members.

Parts such as wheels from any recent-release editions and/or newer model years will be extremely difficult to come by and basically left up to chance (and money). I got extremely lucky (twice) in picking up the OEM take-offs for my IS350; two months ago I got some 18" lobster claws off the '09-'10, and two days ago I got a set of 18" 2011 Sport wheels with only 50 miles on them - not a single nick on the wheels and the tires still smell brand new.
Craigslist is usually the best bet.
