Deleted emblems but...

The other day, some letters were missing. Someone in the hotel parking lot stole some of my Infinit and G35 emblems. I deleted the rest and got it to look like this:

I cleaned it up using a microfiber rag and rubbing alcohol.

As you can see, you still could see the word "INFINITI & G35". Any Ideas how to remove this? I tried polishing it but won't come off.

have you try using clay bar first before polishing it?

You need to polish the scratches out. Use scratchx, or another quality polish like Meguairs 105 or 205, Menzerna, etc.

I've been where you're at, none of the auto parts store stuff is going to work even my light rubbing compound and orbital buffer didn't work. I went to a local car wash that does detail work and asked them to polish it out with a high speed buffer and cleaner....total success! I slipped the guy $20 and he was almost as happy as I am with the results! That's your answer!

You need to buff it out, nothing by hand is going to get rid of it.

I used bug and tar remover, worked great for me. if it doesn't work, like theyvsaid above, a buffer should do the trick.

Take it to any bodyshop and ask them to buff that part of the car for you with cutting compond.. when you go home just throw some wax on it

Gary's advice works the best.. $20 to the bodymen works wonders
