Question Another HKS vs. Motordyne Exhaust thread?!?!?!

I'm trying to decide between an HKS Hi-Power and Motordyne Shockwave TDX V2 exhaust. At one point, I was pretty sure about getting an HKS exhaust bc it was cheaper and the consensus was that the HKS was better. However, after a price raise the HKS and Motordyne are about the same price. Also, I've heard rumors about the poor craftsmanship of the HKS. Now I don't know what to buy. Help me out guys...which one is better in sound, performance, durability, etc? HKS or Motordyne?

Can't go wrong with Tony and Motordyne. That's what I'd get.

HKS was once considered a great exhaust my most but their quality control issues and lack on concern quickly changed all that. One of our vendors was selling a HKS system and I inquired if they'd checked the crossover restriction, the thread disappeared....stick with MotorDyne!

HKS never out performed Motordyne exhausts so IMO never better.

As for sound just listen to both in person and judge.

Personally I'd rock the Motordyne now. But a few years ago I would've went with the HKS just to JDM it out a little more
