Anyhow, I hear more people trying to avoid 05/06 because of oil consumption than people avoiding 03s.

IMO, 04 and 07 are the only good year for the coupes.

That being said, buy a Z.

 

I have an 03 50,000 miles owned it 2.5 years, not one problem yet. I have yet to read anything bad about this year. Most peoples comments come from not liking the interior, headlights and spoiler.

 

Besides the issue with the Uprev tune, as far as i know the only differences between the 03 and 04 coupe were that addition of a tire pressure monitor, change in the auto shift ****, and change in the manual center console. Nothing of technical significance so I wouldn't worry about a thing.

 

before i bought my 05 G, I read reviews on line about 03 and 04 Z's having front end wear problems on the tires/ bad suspension set up. And nissan not fixing it, so that maybe a problem? In the reviews, it was said they fixed it by 05 production. I dont know how true all of that is. That is just what i read. I personally havent had any problems with my 05, not even with the oil consumption. Also I read the interior being different then even the 05, but again i havent been in a 03 or 04 to compair to mine. Also it could be some people complain about the dumbest little things.

 

hmm.. I have an 04, but I do not have TPMS.. should i be concerned? hahaha
