Bad starter? Or Immobilizer?

Hey guys new to the forums, had a question..

My 03 coupe wont start. At first I thought dead battery, but wasnt the case. All dash lights are on but the car wont crank, just clicks once. Question is how do you know if the car is immobilized, and how do i reset it? Tried the key ON for 5 seconds or whatever and didnt work. Any suggestions is welcome, thanks in advance guys.

Make sure you check the fuse box by the battery. I had a blown attc fuse a couple days ago which prevented the car from starting. I also had the click that you speak of. Good luck. Oh, if it's not that, then it most likely is the starter.

I just had an issue where my car wouldn't turn over in a gas station and it's -30°c outside I turn off my car filled it up with gas got back in the car went to go start it and it clicked once every time I tried to turn it over but it did not turn over I just bought a new battery the week prior I tried messing around with it that didn't work so I had the gas station attendant help me push it into a parking spot at this point I was convinced it was my starter I live a few blocks away walked home got my uncle to come pick me up drive me back over and help me and when we got there it started right up I looked at my receipt and I had bough 59.6 L of gas in my 60 L tank I did not have a fuel light on before this I thought I had an eighth of my tank left me and my uncle think what happened is the gas pump sucked up some air or my gas line froze my car was a 2003 Infiniti g35 sedan but the moral of the story is do not trust the g35 fuel gauge but if you have a full tank it's either your battery connection or the starter or maybe even a fuse

The fuel gauge reading incorrectly is a widely reported issue on these vehicles.
